2020- Year of Plenty!

I didn’t want to be vegan. I just wanted to be Beyoncé.

It all started when I suggested to a dear client that he should go skydiving. In exactly the same manner that I did- from 14,000ft, over the ocean.

Said client claimed to be afraid of heights but said that he would skydive on one condition…. if I trained for and completed a 42klm marathon.

I took to Twitter to ask if this is exchange was fair. Said client is a marathon runner and has completed several. I have never completed a marathon and I’m also not an enthusiastic runner. Although, I am from a family of runners, so perhaps I just need to try harder? Honestly, I believe that managing to complete a half-marathon would be fair exchange enough. However, I’ve started the physical training program, so my plan is to just see how it goes.

Recently, I’ve returned to yoga and embraced plant-based eating. The plant-based eating started when I asked Google exactly how Beyoncé got back into shape after giving birth to her twins. Plant-based eating was the answer. I would now term myself an ‘accidental vegan’. I didn’t want to be a vegan and I won’t be spruiking the lifestyle to anyone (although the change in diet has definitely helped with the marathon training). Please continue to order and eat meat in front of me on dinner dates- I don’t mind a bit!

Hand on heart, I can honestly say that 2019 was THE most challenging year of my life. Emotionally and financially- it was a rollercoaster. A few bright spots were scattered within the calendar year- many provided by the people who are reading this blog post! Some of you noticed some of my slightly glum Twitter posts at the time and reached out- I really appreciate you!

Maybe it’s the yoga, going to therapy, the marathon training or the university study, but….. I haven’t felt this good since…. 2015? I’ve been paid for some of my writing. I have a novel in the works and I’ve also been designing my dream t-shirt line. I have lots of good friends around me, some great colleagues and plenty of love and excitement in my personal life. Life is good!

In a way, I feel like I’ve begun my fourth life. My second life began in 2014 when Mischa was ‘born’. My third life began when I moved to Sydney in January 2017. My fourth life began around the 1st of February, 2020. And so far it’s been pretty fantastic!

Let me finish this post with some exciting developments:

My very first tour of Auckland! I have been lucky enough to be flown to Auckland before on FMTY dates and I fell in love with the city. I’m heading back in early June- dates are on my website and Twitter.

Advertising! I like to keep my client numbers reasonably low and I have typically met my beautiful clients through Twitter. However, in the past 24 months I have lost three beautiful regulars (not to death, fear not, they’re very much alive and happy). In order to replace these three gentlemen, I am going to post my tour dates on one or two different advertising platforms. I might see you there!

Rates! I’ve always aimed to provide value for money and have kept my rates at a level that I’m comfortable with. However, I’ve made one or two little ‘tweaks’ which you will notice on my website. These rates took effect on February 1st, 2020.

My website is undergoing some changes! I wrote and designed my site in 2014, and now I’m giving it a bit of a facelift with a few new photos that I’ve had taken in recent months. I’m also reintroducing my ‘Friends’ page so that you can meet the same beautiful escorts and photographers that I have! I will also be slowly transitioning from my Gmail email address to my encrypted Protonmail address. (But more on that later).

Your support is always appreciated. Here’s how you can help:

Aside from the obvious (making a booking with me), you can also leave me a review on the advertising platform of your choice if we have met. Or feel free to email me a review and I would love to add it to my website.

If I have posted dates on my unlocked (backup) Twitter account @MaxwellMischa, retweets are always appreciated.

Invite me! Platonic (and intimate) dates lend themselves to weird and wonderful adventures. I’ll always consider drive-myself-to-you dates and look at negotiating an equitable arrangement where international travel is involved. I make a very fun travel companion. If you don’t ask, you won’t know!

I appreciate all of you more than you will ever know.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart!

xx Mischa
